What are some things you see in a park/spring scene?
You'd see a vast array of greens. There would be big and smaller trees- flowers of all sorts in bloom. Animals like squirrels, bees, and butterflies are very common to see out and about in the day time. You could go with a very soft, pastelish lighting, to give it that springy feeling. The color scheme should be greens and lots of pastel colors, baby pinks, yellows, blues..
