I don't know where you are from, but this spring was very unusual in most areas. Late frosts and freezes wiped out the flowers of many trees in our area. Almost all apple, peach, cherries, and many nut trees lost their flowers before they developed. They won't come back this year, the fruit of this season is lost. Next year will probably be a bumper crop if all goes well because of the rest the trees had this year. So I would suggest that you just be patient this year, your cherry tree will flower next spring.
