Christmas is over, the weather is bad, it gets dark early, all the bills are coming in ..........
By February the spring flowers are coming through, the afternoons stay lighter for longer and things are much more hopeful but as for now, very depressing.
Do you think the next couple of weeks are the worst in the year?
well i'm happy, i get to enjoy all my presents from christmas, start to settle dow and remember what day it is, next week its my birthday and i can start all my sports again after the Christmas break.
Pretty good time of year for me.
Reply:We all get depressed from time to time but weak minds stay depressed for longer periods. Everyday you are breathing is a joyous day. Be thankful.
Reply:I think the worst couple of weeks are just ending.
I suppose it can be difficult for some people, though. Over the years I have learnt to budget for this time of year, and stick to it. No nasty surprises, no unexpected bills, a well stocked larder and spring is just around the corner.
Reply:At least until this answer to this question is found... lol.. really..
Come on... It's what you make of it... sure you can't control the weather... but do the next best thing... enjoy what nature dishes out...!
Reply:yes it will
Reply:best time of year to go on holiday - gives you something else to look forward to
Reply:every day of the year is the worst for me
Reply:Yes ...you are right, everyone is back at work with little in the immediate future to look forward to ...
Reply:I did when i lived in England i used to suffer from S.A.D . Since moving to Spain i feel much better Jan Feb dont seem so bad as its sunny most of the the time
Reply:No. This is the day that the LORD has made. I will be glad and rejoice therein. Psalms 118:24
Reply:I hate January and February for those reasons. It is not until towards the end of March I begin to cheer up.
