Wedding Flowers?

Ok, my wedding is in May of next year, but I have no idea what flowers go best with a Spring wedding. My colors are Mint(honeydew), Silver, and accents of turquoise. I am not flower savvy at all, any suggestions or ideas will be helpful:o)

I second hydrangeas. They come in those colors (well, not silver) and are so soft and pretty. Perfectly spring.



Just google wedding flowers and look at all the images. You'll likely be able to get the names of any flowers you like.

Though most of the images I found on the web were pinkish, these flowers come in a wide variety of shades. Visit a florist and ask to see photos of their weddings done with hydrangeas to get ideas. The silk ones also come in every color imaginable.



They have a very vintage look that I think would go well with the colors you have selected.



You could also take swatches of the colors to a reputable florist and have them suggest flowers that would be available for your date, as well as get some prices and sample photos of what the bouquets would look like.
Reply:I got married in May of this year and my colors were sage and silver, which is similar to your color scheme. Me and my girls all carried dark pink rose bouquets. It was a nice contrast and everyone commented on how beautiful the colors were. If you don't want contrast, you could go with cream and greens in your bouquet.

Reply:Just one suggestion only get cascading flowers if you are tall otherwise they make you look bulky and add pounds.



I love roses so I had the small roses with rhinestones actually in my bouquet. It was so pretty and looked fab in pictures.
